AAHS Spring Speaker Series: Debe Beard of “A Glance at the Past” Heritage Plants & “Slave Gardens”

Debe Beard’s acclaimed “Glance at the Past” series has been heard and loved by residents and visitors alike for years. Her new passion as a Master Gardener has gotten her involved with the Chapman Botanical Garden, at the Orman House State Park in Apalachicola. Ever the historian, she has been researching plants historically grown in this area. The AAHS is pleased that she has agreed to share some of this research with us.
